Fragment performed at the 48H Willhelmsburg this year. The theme of our piece was "This Comfort", where we discuss comfort in society as an advantage and privilege over others. In the spirit of the EU Elections, we open with an ask to the audience to give us their words in the form of slogans for political parties that attract attention by promising comfort to their voters.
During This Comfort, we wanted to show how society wishes to puppeteer us into making decisions, and how this might feel easy at first, but ultimately leads to feelings of loneliness. By accepting Discomfort in one's life, on may accept their uniqueness and grow as a person.

We performed at the 48 Minutes Sommer Special as Fragment. During the performance, we asked our audience to write us a note starting with "I remember". We then spoke this input from the audience into a random sampler programmed by us. In doing so, we rearrange the nostalgic memories from our audiences into a something new, ephemeral and shared.
After 4 years of jamming in private we had our first public Jam this summer at the 48h Wilhelmsburg Festival in Hamburg. Everything your hear is live.
To improvise before a crowd is something truly exiting, as neither we or the crowd knows if the next melody or beat that we come up with will go along well with the others, but if it does, its truly magical. For this performance we used the following samplers & Synths:
Stand alone: Octratrack MK2, Elektron Digitone Keys, DreadBox Typhon
With Ableton: Launchpad Pro MK3, Launchkey Mk3, AKAI APC Mk2
Unfortunately our cameraman run out of battery around half way of the set...but we played around with some real time visual synthesizers to make the second half just as enjoyable.
